Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information our website collects, why, and how it is handled.

We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). What we collect

When you book an appointment: your first and last name, email address, phone number, any note you add, and whether you agreed to receive offers by email. We only send offers if you ticked that box, and you can stop them anytime with the unsubscribe link in any offer email or on our Unsubscribe page (/unsubscribe).

When you contact us: your name, email address, subject, message and, if you add one, an order number.

When you create an account: your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, never readable), plus your order history and loyalty stamp history. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

When you write a review: your rating, review text, and your first name and last initial, which are shown with the review once it is approved.

When you send an order request: your name, phone number, email (if you add it), postal code (for delivery), best time to call, preferred consultant, any questions you add, and the items in your wishlist. We use it to call you back and complete your order. Your wishlist itself is saved only in your own browser until you send it.

When you use the website: to protect the site from spam and abuse, we process your IP address and use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as pages visited and your device type.

We do not ask for health or payment information on this website.

Why we use it

• To book, change, cancel and remind you about appointments.
• To reply to your messages.
• To send you offers by email, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep the website secure and working.
• To understand how the website is used, only if you accepted analytics cookies.

Who helps us

We use these service providers to run the website. They process information on our behalf:

• Netlify (website hosting)
• Neon (database)
• Resend (sending emails)
• Cloudflare (Turnstile spam protection)
• Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies)

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where it can be accessed under the laws of that country. We only share what each provider needs to do its job.

When you buy from us: your name, email (if you give it), phone, delivery address and what you bought. We use it to fill your order and send order emails.

The website never takes payments. We take card payments over the phone or at the studio, entered straight into our card terminal. We never ask for card details by email or text, and card numbers are never stored on the website.

Children

Accounts on this website are for people 13 and older, and we don't knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and think your child under 13 has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records and messages for 2 years after your last visit or message, then delete them. Sales records are kept for 6 years, as the Canada Revenue Agency requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us below. You can change your cookie choice at any time using "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of every page.
