These terms apply when you use this website.

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

About us

This website is run by Merle Norman Cosmetics, Kingsway Mall, an independently owned and operated Merle Norman studio in Edmonton, Alberta.

Using the website

Please use the website lawfully and don't try to disrupt it, access other people's information, or misuse the booking or contact forms.

Bookings

Booking online is free. Our Booking Policy explains how to change or cancel an appointment.

Accounts

You don't need an account to shop. Products are ordered by sending your wishlist to the studio (by the request form, text message or a call); we call you back to confirm your order and take payment over the phone. Prices on the website are estimates before GST and delivery until we confirm them on the call. If you create one, keep your password private. We may close accounts that are used to abuse the website.

Loyalty stamps

• Each purchase of $25 or more (subtotal after discounts, before delivery and GST), by phone or at the studio, earns 1 stamp. One stamp per order.
• You need an account on this website to collect stamps and use rewards. Purchases count when you give the email on your account when you pay.
• Each stamp expires 1 year after the purchase that earned it. A reward can be used while you have 10 stamps that haven't expired.
• 10 stamps earn a $25 reward. Mention it when you pay by phone or at the studio. The reward can't be exchanged for cash and is used in one purchase.
• If a purchase is refunded, its stamp is removed. If an order that used a reward is fully refunded, the reward is returned.
• The studio may change these amounts; changes apply to new purchases. If the program ends, stamps and rewards end with it, including any that haven't been used.

Reviews

Reviews must be your own honest experience. We approve reviews before they appear and may decline ones that are off-topic, offensive, or include personal or medical details. We never edit what you write.

Prices and information

We work to keep service descriptions, prices and hours accurate. Prices may change, and some services are priced from a starting amount. Your esthetician will confirm the price before your service.

Trademarks and content

Merle Norman and related names and logos are trademarks of Merle Norman Cosmetics, Inc. Other content on this website, including text and images, may not be copied without permission.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, the studio isn't responsible for indirect or unexpected losses from using this website or our products and services. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act or other laws that can't be waived. Please follow product directions, patch-test new products, and tell your team member about any allergies or skin sensitivities before a service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the current one.
